The Butterfly Festival
The Chattahoochee Nature Center is a really active place – they are always having some sort of festival or event. It turns out I really enjoy going there. Mainly because I always learn something, but at the same time it’s just so peaceful there – it’s a good time to reflect and enjoy the outdoors.
When my co-worker Addy mentioned this Butterfly festival to me I thought – ah that’s going to be spectacular. And it was – such a great time to really use my macro lens. Turns out getting wildlife to stay still while you are focusing that lens is a little tougher than expected 🙂
There are so many neat facts about butterflies that I didn’t know about. For example, all butterflies have a host plant that they will go to over other plants if they are in the vicinity. How’s that for interesting?
Enjoy!
