Roswell Lavender Festival at Barrington Hall
I’m signed up to receive these weekly/monthly updates from the City of Roswell that tell me what is going on around town. It’s a good thing I get this because I end up in all sorts of things I wouldn’t have known about.
Today, I went a short ways to Barrington Hall, one of several historical homes in the Roswell area (civil war). The annual Lavender Festival was going on and I had never been so I thought, well why not?
It smelled divine – I swear it was the best smelling festival I have ever gone to. I ended up with shots of everything, the gardens, vendors, and people. It was just fantastic.
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do…Thanks to a few people who so graciously let me shoot their wares:
Ashe Simpson Garden Center
Sonja Zelen
McLane Woodworking (John McLane)
Julie’s Soap and Pottery (this hand salt scrub is to DIE for!)
Grosgrain Annie’s Ribbon Emporium
Jocelyn O'Gorman - Thanks for sending the pics. They are beautiful!!!
Michele Glazer - Meg,
As I’m planning for the 2013 Lavender Festival, I came across your website and these pics! They are gorgeous!! Any chance we could use a couple of these for our publicity? I would give you a photo credit in the brochure I’m doing for this year’s festival. June 8, 2013. I hope you’ll attend again. I can’t believe I’m just now seeing these photos! So lovely.
mmporter - Absolutely!! I’m honored that you would want to use them!!
