Roswell Lavender Festival at Barrington Hall

I’m signed up to receive these weekly/monthly updates from the City of Roswell that tell me what is going on around town.  It’s a good thing I get this because I end up in all sorts of things I wouldn’t have known about.

Today, I went a short ways to Barrington Hall, one of several historical homes in the Roswell area (civil war).  The annual Lavender Festival was going on and I had never been so I thought, well why not?

It smelled divine – I swear it was the best smelling festival I have ever gone to.  I ended up with shots of everything, the gardens, vendors, and people. It was just fantastic.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do…Thanks to a few people who so graciously let me shoot their wares:

Ashe Simpson Garden Center

The Painted Fern

Sonja Zelen

McLane Woodworking (John McLane)

Julie’s Soap and Pottery (this hand salt scrub is to DIE for!)

Grosgrain Annie’s Ribbon Emporium

Inkys Art

  • Michele Glazer - Meg,
As I’m planning for the 2013 Lavender Festival, I came across your website and these pics! They are gorgeous!! Any chance we could use a couple of these for our publicity? I would give you a photo credit in the brochure I’m doing for this year’s festival. June 8, 2013. I hope you’ll attend again. I can’t believe I’m just now seeing these photos! So lovely.ReplyCancel
