Almost Legendary at the Masquerade
So really, I have to admit, I’ve never been to more than one concert in my entire life – and that was to New Kids on the Block. I think I was 11 or so – and in mad love with Mr. Wahlberg.
Since March, I’ve really been trying to break free and break out of what has become routine in my life. So far, I’ve succeeded – I’ve been going here and there with as much gusto as I can muster. It’s good for me, for my photography, and great for just meeting people.
I came into contact with an important guy from Vermont – where I’ll be taking a trip this Summer. His son, Brian, lives here in Atlanta and is in a band…Almost Legendary.
So I check them out online, and they seem to be pretty good. I notice that they are playing in a week at Masquerade, a local well known establishment in the downtown area. So I think, alright, here’s a new place and a chance for me to see a live concert, what the heck, why not just do it?
That’s just what I did. Not only did I get to meet Brian and his Almost Legendary bandmates, but also got to meet the band Theatre Breaks Loose (awesome!!), Prisca (her voice was to die for), and hear the lyrical talent of Poema.
So here are the shots I got last night – pretty stoked! Some are of Masquerade and the rest, well, the rest are from the live concert – ROCK ON! These are in my gallery as well 🙂
